This Explorer II Nicknamed The Polar Was Produced in The Year 2000 And Comes With An A Series Serial Number And A Swiss Only Dial. During The Transition From Tritium Dials Pre 2000, To Super Luminova Dials Post 2000 A Small Batch Of Watches Were Issued With Dials That Were Marked With “Swiss” At 6 O’Clock. This Small Detail Is Important In The Vintage Rolex Market And Adds Significantly To The Watches Rarity And Therefore Value.
